Southwick Revival 2022?

We are delighted to be able to congratulate the winners of the Southwick Revival Spitfire Prize Draw 2021.

1st Prize goes to Graham Buchanan of Southampton who, on receiving the news responded:

“Well I’m absolutely amazed that I’ve won such a prestigious prize as a flight in a magnificent Merlin powered SPITFIRE! Thank you, and the Southwick Revival organisers so much. PS Thank you again and I am still trembling with the excitement of my good fortune!”

2nd Prize goes to Michelle Wiseman of Havant. She offered to let her husband take her place in the Simulator:

“Thank you very much, I look forward to the experience.  My husband has declined my offer for him to have the experience. He said as I won it I should be the one who has the fun!” (Ed: What a gentleman!)

3rd Prize won by Reg Sillence of Port Solent who is looking forward to booking his trip for up to six family and friends around the Solent in MGB 81.

Thank you to all of our supporters who have purchased tickets – you have helped us to raise a staggering £9,240! The entire proceeds will be donated to SSAFA, the country’s oldest military charity, supporting veterans and their families in times of need.

Thank you also to Boultbee Flight Academy and Portsmouth Naval Base Property Trust for their support in offering three fabulous prizes. Thanks toBeDevious for setting up and monitoring the online draw and to One2Create for running the social media campaign.

We look forward to welcoming visitors from around the country, and indeed the world, to Southwick for the ‘Spirit of D-Day’ Revival over the weekend of 11th/12th June 2022.

We are grateful to have the ongoing support of Southwick Park, Defence School of Policing and Guarding, and Southwick Estate to ensure the unique aspects of our weekend – the D-Day Map Room in Southwick House and the backdrop of the most Peculiar village!

Over six annual events from 2014 to 2019 an impressive total of £136,500 has been raised.

OK, Let’s Go!

Southwick D-Day 75 Revival was held over the weekend of the 8th and 9th June 2019

Once again the number of visitors grew and the atmosphere was amazing. Just seeing all those smiling happy people enjoying the activities and event which had been laid on, against the unique and unchanged backdrop of the village, gave the organising committee the best reward we could wish for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQj5PGW3vX4
