Southwick Revival 2022

We look forward to welcoming visitors from around the country, and indeed the world, to Southwick for the ‘Spirit of D-Day’ Revival over the weekend of 11th/12th June 2022.

We are grateful to have the ongoing support of Southwick Park, Defence School of Policing and Guarding, and Southwick Estate to ensure the unique aspects of our weekend – the D-Day Map Room in Southwick House and the backdrop of the most Peculiar village!

Raising funds for SSAFA, as well as other charities and funding improvements to village amenities, the Revival has gained a reputation as a quality event providing entertainment and education to several thousand visitors over the course of the weekend in early June. Over six annual events from 2014 to 2019 an impressive total of £136,500 has been raised.

Thank you for your support,

OK, Let’s Go!

Southwick D-Day 75 Revival was held over the weekend of the 8th and 9th June 2019

Once again the number of visitors grew and the atmosphere was amazing. Just seeing all those smiling happy people enjoying the activities and event which had been laid on, against the unique and unchanged backdrop of the village, gave the organising committee the best reward we could wish for:

Except, of course, the funds we hope to raise over the weekend!

The total this year has been confirmed and announced at the AGM on 22nd October: £52,311

Congratulations to all those who contribute so much to the success of the Southwick Revival  event, whether as members of the committee working throughout the year or the many volunteers who turn up and help us to manage the weekend itself – your commitment is very much appreciated.

The funds have been allocated to:

SSAFA (Soldiers Sailors Air Force Families Association)   £15,000

Rowans Hospice, Southwick,Veterans Appeal                       £10,000

Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall refurbishment project    £20,000

Charitable groups which help out over the weekend             £5,000
