EXCLUSIVE Fort Southwick Tours

Unlock the secrets of the Underground Headquarters (UGHQ) by taking an immersive trip 100 foot underground to see the top secret Communications Control Centre.

Attendees will be enlisted as they board the vintage buses from Southwick village, and in their roles help deliver the momentous events of Operation Overlord.

Groups of 60 will descend the 168 steps and then break into four smaller tours who will be led through the tunnels visiting key locations such as the iconic map room, complete with plotting table as well as taking time to hear stories and learn more about the personnel who were based out there.

This experience promises to be immersive and unique, enhanced with theatrics, fun and excitement.

Please note attendees to this experience must be in good health, there are 168 steps to descend and slightly uneven ground. The tour takes place underground with no access to direct light. The exit is on the flat. Children to be accompanied by an adult at all times, we recommend this is suitable for age 12 plus, parental discretion is advisable for younger age groups.
